The River, the new single from The Space Violin Project, is about to be released on all music platforms Friday April 12th!

I am very happy to present the new chapter of the epic tale of the Space Violin Project, under the wings of the London label MrRevillz / Casual Jam Records, with a YouTube channel with 3 million subscribers.

I’d also like to add that Radio105 interviewed me during the Miami Music Week 2019 and previewed the song: in short, if The River is a memory from the future, it’s already a good memory 😉 (only those of you who have followed all the previous posts will be able to get this reference).

THE SONG

This song was born from the sweet and smooth voice of Klory Starling, the stage name used for electronic projects by Chloé Doyon, a young Canadian singer from Montreal, who is also very appreciated in her home country due to her participation in the talent show The Voice Quebec. Chloé’s talent was shrouded in “future bass” influences, priorly heard during the collaborations between myself and Jød, aka Lorenzo Benassi, a young producer who is active between Rome and Berlin; the song subsequently explodes in the drop with the melody of the electric violin.

HISTORY

It’s 2235, Commander AJ is on the Life on Mars spaceship, but you already know this … he travels through space in search of extra-terrestrial aid, because the crisis of communication between men on earth, dominated by a System of Algorithms, has led to extreme consequences amid wars and devastation (but you already know this too).

You met AJ with Double Sun, lived the story of his rescue in Black Hole Tale, felt the speed between earth and hyperspace in Warp 6; this time, AJ’s memories return to the last serene moments when, as an adolescent at the beginning of the devastation, together with his beloved on the river bank outside the city, they dreamed of a world in which to remain forever young.
